Very Behind
Monday, October 11, 2010 at 12:21AM 537 unread posts on Google Reader. Dirty house. Huge pile of unfolded clothes. Hundreds of pictures & videos to go through & post somewhere. On Facebook, the last pics posted were from 2 months ago, which seems like forever. So many moments to write about.
I don't know how long I'm going to be able to keep this blog. I want to spend all of my time on work & Isaiah. But I'll keep trying. Because I barely remember what happened 2 weeks ago. Years from now when things slow down, when Isaiah goes off to college & I want to reminisce about his early years, I certainly won't remember if I don't write it down now.

Things are happening quickly & slowly at the same time. My website went live this week. But my brochures aren't done, so I can't start marketing. I need to start marketing. We need some more money. Crazy things happening in the personal realm, but I'll save that for another post. Maybe.
Isaiah is getting soooooo big. He's got these chubby little legs, and I can always tell the most in his hands. Maybe I pay attention to those a lot.
He started grabbing things intentionally a few weeks ago. The moment was very defining. It's like he didn't know how & then suddenly realized he could touch something he reached for. And it was funny because he started doing it in the middle of the restroom at a clothing store. I got so excited & immediately started taking pictures. A lady came in & asked if we were in line, because we were standing in front of the stalls. When I said no & apologized, she wasn't very happy with us.

He started loving this book that he has. I wish I remembered who gave it to us. Because it is his new favorite thing, and it will hold his attention for a long time.

When he's eating, he swings his arm repeatedly against me. I can't really drink anything while he's eating anymore; he will hit it out of my hand! He also can't hold his focus if I eat or drink anything. He will stop eating & turn his head in my direction. He will do the same thing if someone new walks into the room or his dad does something interesting. He is talking so much & so loudly. Tonight he just lied on our ottoman squealing & yelling, watching the tv & the fan intently.

That was the first time he wore pajamas. At the first sign of cold weather, I realized I didn't have very many warm clothes for my baby. Thankfully it got warm again because I still haven't bought more. Tomorrow.
His smile is getting brighter & his laughs even more intoxicating.
