Ten Months

Sometimes when I'm away from Isaiah all day long, it amazes me that I have an awesome baby boy out there waiting for me.  It all seems a little unreal.  I can't wait for the day that I can call him to hear his voice or text him to see what he is doing or to remind him that I love him.  Some ladies today were talking about their older 7 & 10 year olds, how they take showers by themselves & watch their younger siblings.  I have no idea what parenting will be like that age (save my imagination of how I would have done things with the child version of me), but their lives sounded lovely.  All phases are seeming lovely to me when I imagine them (except the first several months; I STILL haven't begun to think of those months fondly).

I mean, now when he sees me he grins such a huge grin, starts panting & starts crawling towards me.  One day he'll say Mommy when he sees me.  Then one day he'll be able to tell me about his day.  I can't wait.  I can't wait to see him today.

He's 10 months now.  That's pretty close to a year.  Really Isaiah?  Wasn't I just writing a post about 9 months?
