Booked Already

Isaiah has had such a busy schedule these days.  Which means that I have been a little busy too, being his manager & all.  We went on our first road trip last weekend to visit a dear friend in Louisiana who is about to give birth.  Marcus got a free weekend for his Father's Day gift.  He loved it.

It was pleasant drive, in which we only had to stop to feed the little one once both ways.

He liked his new surroundings for the most part.  He slept a lot, but only during the day.  On this trip, though, when he was awake during the night, he wasn't fussy, just awake.  We took this picture while we were awake one of those nights.

My older sister & her son came up for a visit this past weekend. My nephew is talking a lot now, and it is soooo adorable.  He says "Hi" & "Oh no!" & "Uh oh" over & over again.  And this time, he said "Zaya" when referring to his new cousin.

She is expecting another little one in December.  We get to have babies really close together in age!  Now we just need to live near each other.

We took a walk around the lake/canal across the street.

Then last night we went to visit Marcus's parents.  It was his first time at their house and a month since he's seen them.  He slept the whole time!

Marcus's cousin said I might be having another baby because I still looked pregnant.  Great.

And this weekend, we are going to Arkansas for a Marcus family reunion.  My whole pregnancy I tried to convince Marcus that I shouldn't go because I would still be getting used to the whole baby thing.  But I kindof ruined it by taking a road trip two weeks before.

I think we'll be done with social obligations after that for a little while, or try to be anyway.

On another slightly related note, I have a week long break from school (one more class left for my MBA!).  So I will be posting Isaiah's birth story complete with pictures this week.  I promise.
