Now We Have a Baby!

Isaiah Nicholas Briggs was born Wednesday at 2:50pm, 7 pounds & 1 ounce, and according to every one of his proud mother's wishes, at home.  The experience was more amazing than I could have ever imagined, extraordinary & surreal.  I am still processing it all.  Over & over again. 

As soon as I get a chance, I will share all of my thoughts about the birth.  But for now, I am spending all of my time loving him & learning how to be a mommy. 

Here is a quick picture because I feel like it would be a sin not to post one.  Coming up soon, I will have two guest posts, the birth from the perspectives of my little sister & my mother, a first timer & a veteran. 

Now I must go feed my baby!
